The short version

We run no ads, set no tracking cookies, and sell nothing about you. The site collects almost nothing, and what it does collect exists to keep the site working and spam out.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites. We see aggregate page views, not individual profiles.

Forms

When you submit a suggestion or correction, we store what you typed, your email if you chose to leave one (used only to reply), and a salted, daily-rotating hash of your IP address for rate-limiting — the raw IP address is never stored. Form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which has its own privacy policy.

Business listing data

Listings describe businesses, not private individuals: business names, addresses, phone numbers and hours are published business facts. Business owners can request corrections or removal any time — see the listing policy.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare's network, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
