If you run a local business, here's everything about how Orrku listings work — and how to change yours.

What happens after you contact us

Listings are free

Orrku is a curated guide, not a pay-to-play directory. We research and write every listing ourselves. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay — being genuinely good at what you do is the whole entry requirement.

Get listed

Suggest your business (yes, you can suggest your own). A person checks it out, verifies the facts, writes an original description, and publishes it. We prioritize independent, locally-run places.

Correct your listing

Every listing page has a "Suggest an edit" link at the bottom. Hours changed, new phone, moved locations — tell us once and we fix it, usually within 2 days.

Remove your listing

We hope you'll stay, but it's your call: use "Report this listing" on your page and pick removal. We honor removal requests within 48 hours, no questions required. Details in the listing policy.

Claim your listing

Owner accounts — where you can update facts, add your own photos, and post weekly offers — are coming. Use "Is this your business?" on your listing page and you'll be first in line when claiming opens.

Photos

We never take photos from your website or social accounts without asking. If you'd like your listing to carry real photos, reply "yes" when we email asking permission — or send 2–3 photos you own to go with your listing, credited to you.

• Send only photographs you own or are authorized to share.
• Tell us the photographer name for the credit.
• Two or three clear, current images are enough.
• You can request removal of any image later.
