About Spoon & Pork
Spoon & Pork was founded by Raymond Yaptinchay and Jay Tugas in 2017. The childhood friends that grew up in the Philippines always dreamed of opening their own restaurant. Wanting to share their culture & dishes they grew up with. They started to chase that dream and started a food truck in 2017. The duo opened their first location in Silverlake in 2019, followed by a second location in Sawtelle in West LA in 2022. Their hard work & commitment to quality have paid off, as Spoon & Pork has received numerous accolades & recognition. The restaurant was named one of the best 101 restaurants by the LA Times, and several of their dishes have received critical acclaim, including the Patita being named one of the best dishes by the LA Times & the Coco Jack being named one of the best dishes by the NY Times. Spoon & Pork's commitment to quality and excellence has earned them a Plate designation from the prestigious Michelin Guide, making it a must-visit destination for food lovers
