About Melissa Matta Physical Therapy and Pilates
Melissa Matta, MPT, CLT-UE has been practicing physical therapy for over 22 years. She received her Bachelor's degree from UC Irvine and completed her post graduate Master's degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She received her Pilates training through Balanced Body Pilates. Melissa has gained extensive experience working in outpatient orthopedic clinics in Orange County, treating everything from sports injuries to geriatric rehabilitation. She enjoys working with young athletes in injury prevention as she herself played Division 1 college soccer. Melissa also treats women suffering from a variety of pelvic floor dysfunctions and pain. This includes pre-natal, post-partum, post-menopause and after cancer treatments.
