About Lola del Fresno
Discover your creative potential in our adult, teen, and kid-focused Santa Monica art classes. Our carefully crafted art seminars are intended to turn aspiring artists into working professionals. Through a combination of practical exercises and demonstrations, the classes cover a wide range of approaches and strategies for working with different media. I assist students in building strong portfolios that are appropriate for submission to colleges.
Learning the fundamentals of drawing and painting gives participants the confidence to confidently depict any subject while refining their individual artistic styles. We welcome students of all abilities, and our curriculum uses a variety of mediums on paper and canvas, including inks, graphite, acrylic paint, and more. As the lesson goes on, we explore oil painting and clay sculpture, working on a variety of stimulating projects.
