About Learn To Surf
Our founder could swim before he could walk and has over 30 years of being a seasoned waterman and surfer. He attended the University of Hawaii in order to further his education and surfing abilities. After graduating college he entered the US Navy to become a SEAL where he successfully passed US Navy dive school and trained in the field of EOD. Although his Navy career was cut short his passion of the ocean, surfing, and teaching others lived on. Surfers will always tell you it’s not the destination, but the journey that is the important part. With this in mind he and his most trusted surfing buddy who also has 30 years of surfing under his belt came together to form a comprehensive surf school that teaches you all aspects of surfing and water safety.
