About John`s Automotive Care
John Eppstein founded John’s Automotive Care on April 1st, 1998. Our story may have begun on April Fools Day, but our dedication to the safety, drivability, and longevity of your vehicle is not a joke. For more than a decade, our team of auto mechanics has been trusted to take care of drivers throughout San Diego, but our story has humble beginnings. In fact, it all started with an alarm clock. At the young age of 5, John Eppstein, the owner of John’s Automotive Care, was already enthralled with the inner workings of machinery. His mother caught him taking apart his alarm clock, she left to get his father, and when they arrived back, he already put the clock back together again. Ten years later, John’s mechanical skills had progressed toward something a little bit more complicated: engines. Left with only a toolbox and a few spare parts, John transformed a beat-up junker into a mechanical masterpiece and he hasn’t looked back from pursuing his passion since.
