In Pasadena, CA chef Joseph Badaro serves up his favorite Lebanese cuisine at Hummus Labs. Joseph redefines the meaning of Mediterranean food by elevating traditional Lebanese cuisine with modern flavors and cooking techniques. Hummus Labs is Mediterranean redefined
Chef Joseph Badaro was born and raised in the family kitchen. One of his fondest memories as a child was helping his mother prep garbanzo beans for their family’s Hummus. Joseph continued to help her out in the kitchen, picking up new skills with every dish his mother prepared. By the age of twelve Joseph was already making Baklava on his own and quickly mastered cooking. Joseph furthered his culinary education in Lebanon, where he spent most summers growing up with family. The Hummus Labs menu is a collection of Chef Joseph Badaro’s favorite Lebanese inspired dishes, and represents everything he has learned over the years from his mother, family, and Lebanese roots.
