About Bushido-Kai Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Bushido-Kai Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a comprehensive martial arts community program for all ages and genders serving Woodbridge Village and the surrounding neighborhoods of Irvine. We foster community building, relationships, and personal development through the shared journey of martial arts. Come join us and be a part of our family! After the permanent closure of many martial arts schools from the pandemic, we had a desire to originally create a new type of school that would: (1) not be a traditional brick-and-mortar commercial operation; (2) be COVID-conscious and take the pandemic seriously as an alternative for people seeking a safe place to train; (3) be a community-based program to foster and nurture close relationships within the neighborhood; and (4) be an educational fixture in the community. 18 months after the pandemic began, Bushido-Kai Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was finally born and now serves to promote the martial arts lifestyle in the Irvine community.
