Experience the Mexicoast | Mexican Food, Margaritas, Mariscos & Merch Ivan Spiers, an icon of Laguna Beach hospitality concepts is proud to announce his newest creation “Bodega Laguna” Cocina & Cantina. The restaurant theme mixes the best the Mexicoast has to offer by mashing up traditional Mexican cuisine with a focus on mariscos (seafood). The old Laguna Fish Company space has been transformed into an eclectic design mix of vibrant color, vintage Mexico all in a comfy lounge setting... a DJ Booth on wheels will also make its appearance on select evenings. Spiers’ executive chef Angel Velazquez was the force behind the elevated menu. Simple items like Mexican street corn and featured Entradas take you straight to the Mexicoast with dishes like Branzino Zarandeado with chile citrus sauce, cilantro lime rice and cucumber salad, or “PCH Tacos” an inspired take on the ubiquitous street tacos craze.
