About Al Amir Bakery
Abdallah Soueidan has lived in California for over 32 years, after a brief stay in El Paso, TX, where he owned a clothing business. Upon arriving in Southern California, he worked as a waiter and chef, quickly realizing the need for a high quality Middle Eastern bakery in the region. In 2002 Soueidan opened the doors to the first Al-Amir Bakery in Anaheim, CA located at the Brookhurst Plaza. 10 years later, Al-Amir opened it’s second store in Claremont, in hopes of better serving the Los Angeles county region.
Manaeesh are traditional Mediterranean “Flatbreads”- or “Sfiha” – thinly stretched dough topped with thyme, cheese, or ground meat. Similar to a pizza, it can be sliced or folded, or even wrapped for on the go eating. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, there is no wrong time to nourish the heart and soul with Manaeesh!
Our special blend of cheeses, and secret spice blends have kept Al-Amir above the rest.
All of our food served at Al-Amir is made from certified Halal ingredients.
